Our downtown merchants are supported by our Sylvester Main Street Program and by their Downtown Development Authority (DDA). The DDA promotes business retention and recruitment, advertising and promotion for merchants.

The local Economic Development Authority has 200 acres to develop for new industry.

“We have a great location on U.S. Highway 82 that connects to I-75 in Tifton just minutes away,” says  the executive director of the Worth County Economic Development Authority (EDA). “And there is 1,500 feet of frontage on 82.”
