T.C. Jeffords Park

This shaded public park is located in Sylvester near the intersection of U.S. Highway 82 and Georgia State Route 33. The park features a stage for public performances, several covered shelters, picnic tables, a playground, tennis courts and club house. It is also home to Old Engine 100. The annual Peanut Festival is currently held in T.C. Jeffords Park each year.

Irene P. Hall Park

This park is located on West Street in Sylvester. Featuring a playground with covered shelters, picnic tables, restrooms and a walking track for all your outdoor activities.

Gervaise Lawhorne Park

This park is located in Sylvester on East Price and West Wallace Street near the Worth County Football Stadium. This area is also known as (The Duck Pond) and has covered shelters, restrooms and a walking track around the pond area. Great for small birthday parties and enjoying outdoor fun. Be sure to check the dates for our annual Fishing Rodeo every summer.

Curtis T. Shipp Park

This park is located in Sylvester near Martin Luther King Jr. Drive and has a basketball court, baseball field and a walking track around the pond. This area has great outdoor fun activities for everyone. While you are in the area don’t forget to check out our Village Community Gardens and get some fresh garden vegetables and fruit.

Worth County Recreation Department

Offers a host of activities for young people and adults. From softball, soccer to cheerleading, you can take part in athletic activities. We have multi-use fields for team sports. Contact them at 229-776-6509 for more information.

Sylvester Splash Park
