- Sylvester City Hall will be closed on Thursday, September 26, at 12PM, and remain closed on Friday, September 27.
- A comfort station for Sylvester residents only will be open at 2 PM on Thursday, September 26, and close on Friday, September 27, at 10 AM. The location is the HH Woolard Center located at 709 West Wallace Street. You will need to bring blankets/ sleeping bags, pillows, medication,non-perishable food, and other needed items. Citizens in mobile homes are encouraged to seek shelter at the comfort station.
- Sandbags for Sylvester residents are available at the old public works building located at 206 East Martin Luther King Jr Drive. There will be 10 sandbags available per household. If you need sandbags delivered, contact Public Works at 229-776-8513.
- The Emergency Operations Center will be available starting at 2PM on September 26.
